Bluestone specialises in social and disability housing as a provider for the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The sector has unique needs, and many builders don’t have the necessary skill and experience to become a provider. Yet, there is a critical need for housing in the sector. Within the next five years, the NDIS will provide $22 billion in funding a year to an estimated 500,000 Australians aged under 65 who have a permanent and significant disability. For many people, it will be the first time they receive the disability support they need.
